App
Vinted: Pre-loved marketplace
What it is
Vinted is a secondhand marketplace app where members photograph, list and sell clothes and accessories to each other, with no seller fees. It started in Lithuania and is now one of the biggest resale platforms in Europe.
What they actually see
A feed of photographed clothing items with prices, sizes and seller ratings, which you can favourite, offer a lower price on or buy. Selling means taking photos, writing a description, setting a price, then messaging the buyer and posting the parcel.

Why kids love it
It turns a cluttered wardrobe into actual money and a scrolling feed of affordable brands, which feels like both shopping and a side hustle.
Worth knowing
Despite the 4+ App Store rating, Vinted's own terms require users to be 18, and the app involves direct messaging with strangers, payment details and posting items to real addresses.
