Fortnite island
Red vs Blue
What it is
Red vs Blue is a family of community-made Fortnite maps where players are split into two large teams and fight in a fixed arena. It's a casual team deathmatch mode that runs continuously rather than eliminating you for good.
What they actually see
Players pick red or blue, spawn with a loadout, and fight over a shared map while a team score climbs toward a target, respawning a few seconds after each elimination. It's Fortnite's usual cartoon look with no blood, and the pace is closer to a playground scrimmage than a tense survival match.

Why kids love it
Respawns are instant and the chaos is nonstop, so nobody sits out and everyone gets to feel useful.
Worth knowing
Public lobbies can include voice chat with strangers, so it's worth checking Fortnite's parental controls for who your child can hear and talk to.
One way in
Do you and your friends always end up on the same team, or is it more fun when you're against each other?
